Real Wedding : Liz & Dominic
When Liz contacted me enquiring about wedding stationery, I loved that she was so open to my ideas and added: “I am rubbish at the girly stuff associated with wedding and loved your work so would really like to have a chat and see what you could do”.
They came to the right place and after our first meeting, I discovered that everything for their day would revolve around Dom’s bowtie. Bought just after they got engaged, it’s gorgeous green, geometric pattern really spoke to me, along with their venue Cottiers, Glasgow, which has amazing stained glass windows.
So, super inspired, I created the very first Diamond Fold invitation, designed with geometric patterns in green and raspberry. These patterns were then continued into their day stationery – table plan, table names and pyramid place cards. Bouquets, button holes and giant paper flowers table decorations – made with custom-printed paper in their geometric pattern – rounded out the whole look and added pops of colour to their day.
